Well, things must be slowly returning to normal, because people are having weddings again! I’ve had several people message me saying they have a Fall wedding to attend, and they don’t know what to wear or where to buy from. The good news is this: in today’s post, I’ve done all the hard work for you. Below I have linked all my favourite retailers to shop wedding guest dresses from. Be sure to scroll right to the bottom for a master list. A toast to happier times!
Zara
Price Point: Usually less than $100
Ahh Zara. It’s quite honestly the first place I’ll check for a dress because they have a huge selection and the prices are really good for the quality you get.
You cannot, I repeat, you cannot, go wrong with a little black dress. This one looks oh so flattering.
If you prefer something shorter, this is a great option. The jewel straps are subtle but bring it to that next level.
Some people don’t like to wear black to a wedding. I get that. Here’s a beautiful jewel tone option with an amazing strappy back.
This one would be perfect for a Fall wedding. That colour is divine!
For something more casual, this colour is also super gorgeous for a Fall wedding.
You also can never go wrong with a romantic floral print! This one has more coverage.
Revolve
Price Point: Usually ~$250+
Revolve gets the second mention based on sheer choice alone. They have so. many. options! So I’m hoping you’ll find something you’ll like by including it. For Canadians, you have to pay customs/duties at checkout but that means no surprises at your door. They are more pricey but if you’ll wear it to multiple events this Fall it might be worth it for you!
You know I had to throw in another black number. It’s just so flattering! Love how airy this one is, it would be so comfortable for dancing.
If I had a Fall wedding to go to — this would be my dress. I love the sage green, it’s modest and yet still sexy.
Not pictured: how cute the back of this dress is! Love the subtle ruffled sleeves as well.
Love how this one has a bit of drama but it’s not in your face at all. Weddings are for dressing up, after all!
This one I actually really love because it’s a super simple cut and yet so flattering at the same time. Throw your hair in a low bun with some statement earrings (or shoes!) and you’ve got yourself a *look*.
Perfect for the girls who want to cover their chests, this one has a halter neck and metallics are gonna be huge this Fall.
Abercrombie
Price Point: Usually $75-$150
If you’re looking for a Reformation-esque dress but don’t want to pay the price tag, I got you. Abercrombie has possibly made the biggest branded comeback ever and actually has a ton of super cute stuff. For my Canadians, shipping is free over $75 and they cover all customs/duties.
Case and point: this dress comes in several colour ways, all perfect for the oncoming season.
For something less formal, this little cutie. Love the tie strap detail.
Love the fabric on this one, it would flow and not cling (aka perfect for the buffet wedding).
Why not opt for something different? This jumpsuit makes a statement while channeling that boss girl energy.
See what I mean about the Reformation-esque vibes? This dress is perfect for a late Fall wedding!
Showpo
Price Point: Usually ~$100
I had to highlight some of Showpo’s dresses because not only are they one of Australias biggest shops, they have tons of cute dresses that I bet no one else at the party would have. Shipping is free over $50 to Canada but they do not cover any customs or duties.
This fun and flirty number is super pretty! Love the one shoulder detail.
Between the slightly puff sleeves and the sweetheart neckline, this dress would be gorgeous on so many body types. Love the fun colour too!
This slip dress comes in a few other colourways but I just loved this golden hue for Fall.
This one looks so understated and yet so classy. Love when you don’t have to try hard and still look so chic!
Love the fact that this one has long balloon sleeves, perfect for a cooler night. The colour is so fun and the satin material makes it feel more high end.
This one gives me total Zimmerman vibes, in the best possible way. It has so many subtle details which I just adore!
Anthropologie
Price Point: Usually $150-$250+
Did this surprise you? Anthro now ships to Canada so of course I had to include them on the list! They are a bit pricier but the prints are so gorgeous and truly I think you could wear any of these dresses multiple times, not just for a wedding. Shipping is $20 to Canada and you prepay any customs/duties so there’s no surprises at your door.
This moody floral is super gorgeous and unique!
This cut of dress would be so flattering on so many figures. I love that deep berry tone.
For something a little more fun, I love this giant colourblocking number!
This dress is pretty much fool-proof. The cutouts are subtle enough but would give you an amazing hourglass shape.
This one looks super flattering fit wise as well. It has the ability to be styled up or down quite easily!
For something a little more casual I adore this vibrant magenta one. This is totally a dress you could wear to non-wedding events afterwards as well!
Finally, here are some other honourable mentions and places to check out:
Whew! There are, of course, loads more stores but these would be the places I’d check out first! And if you are still having no luck WELL, you are a tough cookie to shop for. Send me a DM and I’ll see if I can help!
